What questions would I ask Richie McCaw if I ever met him ?

  1. What OPEN question would I ask him?
Over the years have you ever regretted becoming an All Black and if so why?
2.What would you thank him for?
Id thank him for inspiring many young kiwis to follow their dreams and being a great role model.
3. What else would you say to him/ask him about/tell him…?
I would ask him if you ever had the chance to go back in time to change the outcome would you???

5 points I found in Chasing Great

  1. Image result for richie McCawSet goals: As a leader you have the set goals, have something to aim for.
  2. Sometimes you need to break before you shine. Like a glow stick Richie McCaw broke before he shone. He lost the World cup and that kind of broke him.
  3. However after coming back from that he achieved great things!
  4. Take risks: If Richie McCaw never took risks he may not be where he is today.
  5. Never give up: Richie Mccaw never gave up on his dreams because people told him he couldn't do it, he just proved them wrong.
  6. Success is a lousy teacher: In the movie he talked a bit about this. If you always succeed you'll never learn anything new.

Before camp Questions

Image result for quotes about leadership great leaders don't set out to be a leaderMy goal for camp is to build more positive relationships with others when I am on camp. I hope to have heaps of fun and explore new things. I’m willing to try new things and I am able to get myself sorted. Some of my strengths are that I can help others when they need help, I am trustworthy will do the right thing at the right time. I will need to use resilience and connecting. If we have any problems on camp i’ll talk to a parent helper or a teacher, I would ask them what was wrong and if I can help.

If people are feeling sick in the car I can ask them if they want my seat if it is a bit better than theirs. If we decided to listen to music we would all have a chance to pick a song. In my activity group I wouldn’t rush to go first and I will put others before myself. In my cabin I won’t keep them up all night talking and I won’t move all their stuff. I won’t hog the bathroom in the morning ever. I’m really looking forward to Kayaking down the river, Inflatable world, AC Baths and swimming at Lake Taupo the most. I am a little bit nervous for the high ropes but i’m sure i’ll be fine. You will be able to see a group of kids laughing, having fun, connecting and learning more about each other. Overall it will be a great experience.

Swimming Club Championship Night

The other night we had Club Championships. It is a night where our swimming club comes together and compete to get points. The first race I did was 1 length fly. I did ok in it. The next race I did was 1 length freestyle. I did way better than I had thought. Next was 2 and 3 lengths freestyle. I did pretty good in it. Next was 1 and 2 lengths backstroke, I didn't do that well in it. Next was 1 and 2 lengths Breaststroke, I did really well in those. I was really tired after doing those races but I had a great night.

Current events: South Korea President forced out!!!
Image result for Park Geun-hyeSouth Korea’s President Park Geun-hye has been forced from office over a scandal involving a few big business. Park Geun-hye was charged by the government in December for asking big companies to give money to her for government favors (we don’t know if this is entirely true). Park Geun-hye dismissal from the office means south Korea needs a new president by early may. She has lost her presidential bonus and can be prosecuted. Since December the country's prime minister has taken over her responsibilities.
My opinion: I think that it is extremely stupid that she decided to risk her own job and even her freedom to make some crooked deal with big companies

I wonder: Which big companies were they and will they have to be shut down?

Yesterday we had HP swimming which stands for Hauraki Plains Swimming Sports. All the schools in the Hauraki District come the the pools and compete to try and qualify for Thames Valley. From our school swimming sports I decided to go for The Medley ( 1 fly, 1 Freestyle, 1 Back  and 1 breast) I also went for 2 and 3 lengths Breaststroke and freestyle, I also went for 1 length Butterfly. I started of with the medley which I did ok in then I have 2 breast which I also did ok in. I next had 2 lengths freestyle. I had a break for a while the had 1 length fly which I did ok in. I next had 3 Breaststroke and Freestyle. I think that I went to fast at the start because I started getting really tired but in breaststroke I think I went the perfect speed. I had a really good day.

My Weekend

Last weekend Lara and I went to The Magic vs Mystics in Te Aroha. When she picked me up  we went and got Charli, Lara's sisters friend. We went to Te Aroha and got some lunch then headed to the stadium. We caught up with Brooke, Freya, Ava, Georgia and Lily. We were going for The Magic since their the Waikato team. After a few quarters past we got a photo with the Magic mascot. By the end of the game the Magic lost by 6 goals. We waited about 10 minutes and then we were allowed to get signatures and photos. We got all of the Magics signatures and a photo with my favourite player Casey Kopua. I also got some Mystics signatures such as Maria Tutaia, Anna Harrison and Bailey Mes. We got a photo with Bailey Mes and a magic player photo bombed it, however I was blinking Image result for laughing face emoji.I had a really fun weekend and I hope to do it again some time!!
